Vivid green leaves surround striking purple flowers, creating a lively contrast against a muted background. The brushstrokes convey a sense of movement and vitality in the plant.
3 purple irises bloom in early Spring with the third one reaching high as if to see something beyond. Iris can be associated with the eye, iris of the eye which controls how much light is let in by opening up. So, perhaps this painting might represent a third eye, the eye within that seeks deeper understanding, perception and knowledge through intuition.
